➜➟ WATCH Amelia: A Tale of Two Sisters ⟵⇦

I find this movie to be incredibly depressing. I just cry now because I really feel for the main character. There are about 2 scary scenes in this movie that made me jump. One being the creepy onryo and the second…actually it also had to do with the creepy onryo..
LOL the subtitles are so wrong guys hahaha

this is a excellent example of the sub-genre of horror; psychological horror. It will keep you guessing until the climaxic moment of relevation..

@Eleinna actually, i heard that its easier for someone to recognise people when they are from the same ethnicity as they are. Its not being rascist its just something, a thought. If someone said something rude about not being able to distinguish the girls. I dont believe its a reason to insult americans like tht..

Eight decades after her disappearance, Amelia Earhart’s incredible accomplishments are still celebrated, thanks in large part to her sister Muriel. In each episode of flirtations and fails, one real-life single navigates five blind dates. Underground gladiator Tokita Ohma fights on..

Pick a random title Amelia: A Tale of Two Sisters. 2017 3.0/5 TV-PG SuperHD 43 minutes. Eight decades after her disappearance, Amelia Earhart’s incredible.

ya u r right ‘Contemporary’ American Horror Movies suck.

Su-mi had Dissocative Identity Disorder (DID) once called Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD) because of the death of her Mother and younger sister. This is the reason Su-mi was in a mental institution. The little sister and step Mothers were alters personalities of Su-mi and a lot of the events were Su-mi having hallucinations cause by her mental illness. Also the step Mother was having an affair with the father who was the nurse who was caring for the the Mother who had becoming mentally ill which cause the mothers suicide and the death of the sister Su-yeon. Yep there is some super natural events also taking place and could be called Poltergeist activity. This is more of a psychological thriller than a real horror movie. Yep a very outstanding movie once one has caught on to what is taking place and is going on. Also the acting is outstanding and does at times tug at the heart strings. Yes it does have it’s tear jerking moments. Believe the original version is the better cut than the version released internationally..

Amelia: A Tale of Two Sisters (2017) – Rotten Tomatoes
This was one of the most boring, highly rated films I’ve seen. Half the guys went to sleep midway through.
Okay, seriously, why do the subtitles suck so hard? it’s not even a case of the subtitles saying something similar to what they are saying– it’s where the subtitles are saying something COMPLETELY different. Like, how does saying Im going to kill [them/he/her, don’t know the full context] translate into we have to get out of here??? or when the woman says Do you know what is the scariest thing (or a variant of that), the subs say You will do as I say… really? whaatt???.

There are no words for this crap.

Wow this video really opened my eyes a bit more to the plot of this movie. I was able to guess that her sister wasn’t actually alive and that the stepmother was actually just Su-mi before those twists were revealed but even so there was and is still much that I missed and/or don’t understand. Now, I know that ghosts are quite common in Korean horror and honestly I think the concept of those ghosts being real was most likely what the director was going for. That being said, instead of the house ACTUALLY being haunted by real ghosts, my theory is that the ghosts are actually symbolic of the characters grief and guilt. At the end when we see the scene between the ghost and the stepmother play out, instead of being literally attacked by a ghost it is simply her guilt finally overwhelming her. Whenever she hears little footsteps in the empty house this is that guilt constantly knocking on her door until she is forced to face it head on and it engulfs her. Whether or not the director meant these ghosts to be real or just ambiguous symbols I’m not sure but I really enjoy the fact that we have to question it. Movies that make me think so hard and want to rewatch are truly a gem. I agree that (except for a few rude jumpscares lol) this movie isn’t really SCARY but it is creepy and thought provoking. It’s almost BETTER to watch it after you know the twists because all the tiny details really stand out. Great movie, thanks for the video!.
